The Silk Road Mountain Resort is located in the Tianshan Mountains, 38 kilometers south of Urumqi City, within the National Forest Park. It is a national 4A-level scenic area. The Silk Road Ecological Park features a 2,300-meter-high Awen wooden house built with European red pines, as well as a variety of tourism and vacation supporting facilities such as a hundred kinds of local snacks, a Chinese culture hotel, a Silk Road cultural film and television city, a silicied wood museum, a meteorite exhibition hall, and a poplar forest park.
